Relax And Restore with The Roll Model Method®

Join Allison for a deep winter treat! She will lead you through a sweet workshop that combines self-massage techniques and breathwork that can help you relax, reduce pain, ease stress and generally chill out on a cold February afternoon! You will learn about your anatomy and how to use self-massage balls for self-myofascial release. This approach will help reduce muscle tension and hydrate fascia; the key is increasing overall body awareness and decreasing body blind spots. This approach is ideal for all that want to live better in their bodies – no yoga experience is required.

A recording is available for viewing ONLY for 48 hrs post-class- if you cannot make the timing please email, jennifer@inletyoga.com PRIOR to the event and she will send along the recording.

Recommended props are Yoga Tune Up® Therapy Balls of various sizes.

  • Originals (2 in a small tote)
  • Alpha (1)
  • Coregeous Ball (optional – you can substitute a rolled-up yoga mat or throw pillow, or any soft inflatable ball approx 8 inches in diameter)
  • Yoga mat or slightly padded clear surface to lay on; 2 yoga blocks OR 2 phone books or another like-sized book
  • Wall space that you can use to lean on or roll against
  • Yoga blanket or throw to put over yourself for savasana (optional)
  • Attire: close fitting yoga or gym attire so that the massage tools can have close contact with skin

The Yoga Tune Up® brand of self-massage balls is specifically recommended because they are both pliable and grippy which makes them better able to penetrate and grab different layers of fascia – allowing you to bring hydration and mobility back into your tissue.
