Studio Yoga Classes and Private Yoga Classes
Yoga Classes
- Embodied Yoga: This slow-paced class is open to all levels. It blends traditional breath-based yoga poses with novel movements that are designed to increase range of motion and functionality. Each class has a different focus (either a pose type or body part). However, a typical class will begin with centering, followed by warmups, varied asana and vinyasa sequences interspersed with strengthening exercises and it will end with cooling poses and savasana. Cueing will emphasize breathe, anatomy and biomechanics. A curious, playful mind is requested, but not required.
- Yoga Tune Up® Flow: This playful class incorporates the principles of Yoga Tune Up® with the dynamics of vinyasa yoga. Enjoy a deep yoga practice that explores the link between your breath and a flowing practice while incorporating the nuts and bolts of sound biomechanics. You will breakthrough habitual movement patterns with innovative and surprising detours using breath patterns, targeted mini-vinyasas, stretches and unconventional asana.
- Yoga Tune Up®: This class is designed to help you live better in your body by using a combination of self-massage, corrective exercise, yoga, breathing strategies, and anatomical education. It is the perfect accompaniment to a traditional yoga class – or really any form of fitness training. If you want to get to know your body’s anatomy better and eliminate some of the many “body blind spots” that we all have, this class is for you. There are no “levels” in Yoga Tune Up® – all classes are Beginner classes.
If you are looking for individual instruction as you start or deepen your practice, or want to learn more about specific ways you can increase your mobility or stability, Allison is available for private instruction in either 60 or 90 minute sessions. Contact her here.

The Roll Model Method® Workshops
